Family Day in Niagara
Over the Family Day long weekend last week, Brentley and I left the city and spent a day in Niagara. We first stopped by Niagara-on-the-Lake for some brunch at Treadwell (excellent farm-to-table food!) and then headed to the streets to test out Brentley’s new lenses, which was also an excuse for Brentley to practice new poses for the camera.
For dinner we went to Brasa, which was our first visit back since 2012. The food and service were amazing, but hardly worth the $60-per-person cost (although we still maintain that it’s far better than Copacabana!). We spent the night at the cutest, retro-inspired Airbnb, then crossed the border the next morning to pick up a few packages and shop at Target before returning home. It was a great little getaway— we’ll hopefully find some time in the warmer months to do more of the same!
